What's the story?
While the rest of us were enjoying the Ultimate Deletion, those who were in the arena for RAW were in for a treat. Not only did they get to watch a segment featuring Ronda Rousey that we've outlined in a separate piece, they saw Kane and Braun Strowman in action too.
The segment ended with Braun Strowman standing tall after putting Kane through a wooden table. We thank Wrestling Inc. for the latest update.
In case you didn't know...
We saw Braun Strowman in action earlier in the night, when he took on Cesaro in a singles match. Kane was in action too, as he took out John Cena, when Cena made insulting comments about Kane's kayfabe brother, The Undertaker, earlier during the course of the night.
Nobody expected the two monsters to be in the dark segment as well.
The heart of the matter
Elias came and greeted the crowd, and was about to begin his musical performance when Braun Strowman interrupted the proceedings, much to the delight of the WWE Universe.
Soon after, Strowman destroyed Elias who narrowly escaped by the skin of his teeth. Strowman saved the audience from another mega painful musical performance.
However, it was Kane, who reappeared to confront his old foe. A table was brought into the ring, as the two monsters faced off.
Ultimately, it was Strowman who got the upper hand though, as Kane went through the table.
What's next?
Braun Strowman still hasn't picked his WrestleMania partner, while Kane is set to go one on one with John Cena next week on RAW. It is not known what's next for Elias.
Author's take
These dark segments are always a lot of fun to watch, really. I did watch a similar segment in India where Strowman put Kane through a table, and that was a lot of fun for the audience.
I really hope that Elias is picked as Strowman's partner because he's too talented to just be part of a multi-man battle royal.
