What’s the story?
Earlier this week, Renee Young confirmed on Twitter that she and longtime boyfriend Dean Ambrose got married. According to WrestlingInc.com, the actual date was this past Sunday and the wedding took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In case you didn’t know...
Ambrose and Young have been together since 2013. The relationship wasn’t immediately acknowledged on WWE television until last year when Talking Smack debuted on the WWE Network after Smackdown Live every Tuesday night.
Eventually, it would actually become a short-lived angle on Smackdown Live when The Miz brought it up in an interview leading to Renee slapping him in the middle of the ring.
The heart of the matter...
On this week’s edition of Talking Smack, Kevin Owens accidentally gave away the news of their Ambrose and Young’ s marriage when he congratulated Renee. You could tell Renee was happily flustered, but the panel didn’t specifically mention that she got married and quickly moved on to the next subject.
However, if you looked close enough on WWE television this week, you’d notice that they were both wearing rings.
What’s next?
Ambrose was recently moved over to Raw as a part of the Superstar Shake-up. Since the next Raw pay per view is a couple of weeks away, there might be a quick challenger named for his Intercontinental Championship. Miz could be thrown in a match with Dean since he received the Dirty Deeds this week in the opening segment.

Dean Ambrose and Renee Young are two of my favourite people in the WWE and I for one, couldn’t be happier for the couple. I always love when the two are on camera together as you can just tell they love each other by their infectious chemistry.
