WWE News: WWE announces Kane vs Braun Strowman for the UK Tour
"The Monster among Men" and "The Red Big Machine" will face each other not once but on six different occasions this month.
What’s the story?
Earlier today WWE revealed on their official Twitter handle that “The Monster among Men” and “The Big Red Monster” will finally lock horns during the current UK tour. This will be their first match since TLC.
In case you didn’t know…
Former WWE World Champion Kane made his return to WWE TV last month when he interfered in a steel cage match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman during an episode of Raw. Kane cost Reigns the match against Strowman after hitting a chokeslam on “The Big Dog” that eventually led to a Braun Strowman victory.
To the WWE universe, it seemed like that both Kane and Strowman have decided to build an alliance between them as the two men would go on to team up with each other in a 5-on-3 handicap match against The Shield last month.
However, during the match, Kane turned his back on Strowman and put him through a table after hitting a huge Chokeslam and eventually dumped him into a garbage truck with the help of The Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus.
The heart of the matter
WWE confirmed earlier today that Braun Strowman and Kane are going to face off during the company’s on-going United Kingdom tour. It was tweeted out by WWE that they will wrestle in Brighton, London, Minehead, Cardiff, Birmingham and also at the next episode of Raw that is set to take place in Manchester.
Now that Braun Strowman is a part of the Raw team at Survivor Series, this rivalry could be settled on television. It is unlikely that this program will last until the Royal Rumble.
We have seen in the past that Braun Strowman is more than capable of pulling off great matches against big men. Strowman and The Big Show have put on great matches in the past and he could do something similar with Kane in the right circumstances.
