WWE News: WWE CFO addresses the possibility of adding new price tiers for the WWE Network

WWE’s video streaming service, WWE Network has been a huge success. Just by paying $9.99 a month, a wrestling fan can enjoy and stream live shows, pay-per-views, wrestling matches from the past, full episodes of the Network exclusive series’, podcasts and much more. Started on January 2014 the Network is now available on 220+ countries worldwide.

As reported by wrestlinginc.com, WWE CFO George A. Barrios participated in a presentation ceremony at the Bernstein Global Future of Media & Telecom Summit in Boston this past Tuesday. During the presentation, Barrios discussed the possibility of adding a few new tiers and pricing for the popular WWE Network. He even tweeted :

As seen in the tweet, this is just an idea as of now. The WWE Network now has an effective hold in WWE’s business. Pay-per-view, DVD, ticket sales and many more have been affected by the Network, as many fans like to watch the shows from home rather than paying several dollars to watch only one event.
