What's the story?

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have a new gig on WWE's YouTube channel, having taken a page from the playbook of hit series: "Botchamania". WWE has created their own version of the popular series, with Gallows and Anderson at the helm. The series will be called "Botch Club".

In case you didn't know...

For many years, we have seen a very popular YouTube series focusing on the many botches and hilarious moments from wrestling's past and present titled Botchamania. The series was hosted by user "Maffew", using clips from the WWE as well as other wrestling organisations.

To avoid copyright infringement, the series would modify the WWE clips and alter them accordingly. The company has since caught wind of this and naturally, created their own version of the same formula, focusing on clips from WWE, WCW and ECW shows. It's essentially a video series which highlights wrestling mistakes, bloopers, errors and embarrassing moments. In addition, there are also running jokes and silly little endings too.

To quote Maffew, he provides us with an interesting take on how the series originally got started, revealing the series actually began before he started releasing them on YouTube and has gone through multiple accounts having to deal with the copyright strikes on various accounts.

The heart of the matter

To make things even more interesting and entertaining, we have Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows hosting the new series. Their previous comedic angles on the WWE Network with such specials including "WWE Ride Along", as well as other behind-the-scenes shenanigans, makes them a perfect fit for this new series.
