What’s the story?

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy 'Sunny' Sytch has been arrested once again. Sunny was taken into custody by New Jersey Correctional Officers this past Tuesday.

In case you didn’t know...

Sunny has been arrested countless times now. That is not really an exaggeration either, her record is as long as her WWE career.

Back in 2012, Sunny was arrested five times in a four-week span, for disorderly conduct, third degree burglary, and three counts of violating a protective order. She was arrested a sixth time in January 2013, also for violating a protective order, and served 114 days in jail before being released that May. Sunny pleaded guilty to driving while under suspension in January 2016, she was sentenced to 90 days in jail on August 18, but counted her 97 days in rehab as jail credit. Sunny was arrested again for violating her parole, which was due to three 2015 DUIs. She remained in jail on these charges through her arraignment in January 2017, before being released on the 3 of February.

The heart of the matter

This time Sunny was taken into custody by New Jersey Correctional Officers this past Tuesday after being charged with “Contempt – Disobedience/ Resistance.”

An employee of the Monmouth County Correctional Facility claims that Sunny was being held due to being a fugitive in Pennsylvania for an undisclosed incident. Sunny is still currently being held in custody at the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office on a $6,000 bond.

What’s next?

Sunny will be released once she has paid the $6,000 bond. She will then have to appear in court once again.

She is currently scheduled to appear at Wrestlecon in New Orleans. She may have to cancel her appearances as she did for last year's event when she was in a similar situation.

Author’s take

She had so much potential to be an even bigger and better manager and personality, before her addictions took over her life. A sad story, really.
