WWE News: WWE is reportedly making low-ball offers to former stars

WWE is reportedly lowballing former stars like MVP.

According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is being reported that while WWE has indeed been approaching a lot of former stars over returns, most of them have decided against it because the financial package on offer is much too low. Former stars like MVP who have been contacted have been put off by the lowball offers and have decided to against a return at this point. This could change because WWE is still having talks with a number of former stars.

Rumours about former stars like Carlito and MVP returning have been flying around since the time when the brand split was first announced in order to add some depth to the overstretched rosters of both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live.

A number of former stars have already made signed with the WWE such as former ECW stalwart Rhyno, former 2-time tag team champion Shelton Benjamin and former 3MB member Jinder Mahal. There have also been rumours that Curt Hawkins was backstage at last weeks SmackDown Live, so he’s another one who may have already signed. Could we see others like Melina, Rey Mysterio, Victoria, Carlito and MVP back in the WWE soon?
