What's the story?

With the combination of NXT and the WWE Performance Center, the company has been able to bring top talent to a higher level while grooming some incredible homegrown talent. Now, with NXT UK taking off, the WWE seems to be getting ready to introduce another Performance Center.

In case you didn't know...

In 2017, the WWE revealed its plan to take over the world with "Global Expansion." In order to meet this goal, the company planned to introduce its own territories in various parts of the world including the UK, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Germany, and South America.

With NXT UK finally taking off back in the summer, it seems the WWE is officially moving forward with their plan.

The heart of the matter

Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the WWE will soon announce their plans to introduce a Performance Center in the UK. With the UK brand taking off, the WWE hopes to continue to build the territory by adding a vital part of their developmental system. With their system in full effect, they can pick up some great UK talent that might not have been noticed by other promotions early on in their careers, turning them into homegrown talent.

What's next?

As part of their Global Expansion, once the UK Performance Center is completed and staffed, the WWE will more than likely move on to their next territory. Whether that be in Australia, Japan, or any other part of the globe, you can expect the WWE to bring the NXT brand to a new country in the next few years.
