What's the story?

WWE have just released an incredible, behind-the-scenes footage of the chaotic WrestleMania day on their YouTube channel.

The video shows Superstars arriving at the stadium, waiting in nervous anticipation for their matches, and also the fans in awe of the larger-than-life setup at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

In case you didn’t know…

WrestleMania 34 took place last Sunday, at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The show was a 7-hour long extravaganza, including the pre-show, and had one of the most stacked cards in WrestleMania history.

The event was largely appreciated as one of the best WrestleManias in recent times, with some shocking finishes like, Brock Lesnar retaining when everyone expected Roman Reigns to be crowned Champion, an amazing debut by Rousey which exceeded everyone's expectations (arguably the best match of the night), and a few questionable decisions - like Jinder Mahal winning the US Title.

The heart of the matter

Fans are just recovering from an incredible week of pro wrestling, with the Raw and SmackDown Live after WrestleMania also living up to its hype, and WWE have now released this incredible backstage footage.

The footage shows the Superstars behind the scenes including, Roman Reigns talking about the hardest part of the being the long wait, Kevin Owens, true to style, not breaking character and asserting that it was indeed going to be KO'Mania, Finn Balor talking about how it is going to be his first WrestleMania, which has been a long time coming seeing how he has been in the business for 18 years.

Raw emotions are on display in the video, showing Ronda Rousey being overwhelmed at being in the stadium.

One of the best parts, is the fans' reaction to entering the stadium and coming into view of the set for the first time. Another incredible part is a brief appearance by The Undertaker, putting on his hat and getting ready.

Some lighter moments include Reigns asking the cameraman if they are going to follow him all day long, and Daniel Bryan and The Usos discussing how they're dressed.

The most incredible part, however, is the part with Roman Reigns towards the end, explaining how important the day was to him.

"I've busted my ass all year long, for multiple years consecutively, all over the world. I've been away from my family for a long time, and i literally look at days like this, i kiss my kids and say, 'I'm gonna go get some college money'... you can't measure what I'm fighting for.."
