WWE News: WWE signs up former NFL Brennan Williams

WWE, on its official website, just posted news of signing former NFL player Brennan Williams. The 6 ft 7 in, 300-pound former offensive tackle will be joining the WWE Performance Center to begin his training .

Brennan Williams played college football at the University of North Carolina before joining NFL. To add to his resume, he was also part of the practice squads for the Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots during his NFL tenure.

An ardent fan of WWE from his childhood, Williams began training under the tutelage of WWE Hall Of Famer Booker-T to fulfill his ambition of making a name in the world of sports entertainment.

He also made his in-ring debut for Booker-T's Houston-based Reality of Wrestling earlier this year, competing under the moniker of Marcellus Black (billed from the “ The Savage Lands of Shaolin). To add to all the above he is also a black belt in taekwondo.

With its recent signing spree, WWE has in the past few years brought in wrestlers from Japan ,India ,China to add to its diversity. It remains to be seen what impact Brennan Williams will make Hopefully, the giant’s signing will prove a win -win situation for both him and the WWE.
