What’s the story?

WWE Superstar Bayley has taken to social media so as to express her happiness for Emma who recently made her ROH debut.

As we’d previously reported, Emma is set to participate in ROH’s Women of Honor Championship tournament.

In case you didn’t know…

Emma, whose real name is Tenille Dashwood, performed for the WWE from 2011 until her departure from the promotion in October of last year.

The 28-year-old Australian professional wrestler is widely respected for her in-ring work as well as consistency in delivering great matches, not only in the WWE but also for her work on the independent professional wrestling circuit from 2007-11.

The heart of the matter

Emma made her ROH debut under her real-name, Tenille Dashwood, at ROH’s Honor Reigns Supreme event; joining the Women of Honor division.

Furthermore, Emma aka Tenille Dashwood confirmed that she’s indeed the 16th participant in the ongoing Women of Honor Championship tournament—

Addressing the same, Bayley stated that she’s proud of Emma finding success in ROH. Fans can read the Huggable One’s Tweet about the same below—

What’s next?

Emma (Tenille Dashwood) presently performs for ROH and is expected to stay with the promotion for the foreseeable future. The veteran mat worker is considered to be one of the favorites to win the Women of Honor title.

On the other hand, Bayley presently performs for the WWE’s RAW brand and is primarily featured in her Mixed Match Challenge (MMC) segments alongside Tag Team partner Elias; apart from also competing on WWE Main Event tapings.

Author’s take

Honestly speaking, Emma is still very young—despite having been around the sport for a pretty long time—and could reinvent herself outside the WWE before returning to the promotion.

Besides, Emma Tenille Dashwood should have no shortage of competition in ROH as the Women of Honor division is akin to a shark tank, as far as talented female performers are concerned. Are you hyped to see Dashwood in ROH? Sound off in the comments!
