WWE News: Xavier Woods campaigns for US Title votes in hilarious video
What's the story?
Xavier Woods is in the United States Championship tournament on WWE SmackDown to determine who will be taking over the apparently vacated United States Championship and he's not taking the opportunity lightly. He also might not understand that the winner of the tournament isn't decided by voting.
But regardless, Xavier Woods and The New Day crew still filmed a hilarious little video where Woods campaigned for the chance to become the new United States Champion will all is said and done.
In case you didn't know...
The New Day is always making light out of anything they can, especially if it gives them an excuse to shake their booties.
The heart of the matter
It's hard to know who you're supposed to be watching in this video because although Woods is the one doing all the talking, Big E and Kofi Kingston were still dishing out some hilarious pantomime.
Xavier Woods is in a strange position in the US Title tournament because he is likely to be in a position where he is a big babyface who loses to Jinder Mahal, but stranger things have happened in WWE before. It could be possible that Xavier Woods takes it all the way to capture the US Title when all is said and done.
If this campaign video is any indication of how serious he is about the role of US Champion, he could make a fine keeper of the prestigious title.
Fans will have to sit back and see how things pan out for this impromptu tournament. But with support like Big E and Kofi Kingston around, Xavier Woods has a pretty good advantage walking into the situation.
This is a great video and another illustration of why I think Xavier Woods has a great singles career in store for him after his time with The New Day has concluded. After all, he's intelligent, he can speak very well, and Woods also has an incredible moveset he can fall back on.
If you add in his eclectic ability as an entertainer to work as both a babyface and a heel, Xavier Woods is certainly someone to pay close attention to.
