What’s the story?

Following the news of former WWE Cruiserweight champion, Neville wanting to quit WWE, a lot of wrestlers from various other promotions decided to take it to Twitter responding to the news.

After tweets from Bullet Club members the Young Bucks who invited Neville to join the Biz Cliz, this time it was Marty Scurll’s turn who dropped a ‘subtle’ hint for Neville.

In case you didn’t know…

Earlier this week, it was reported that two time WWE Cruiserweight champion Neville recently walked out of the show, during this past week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Neville made the choice of walking out from Raw due to him being snubbed out of a match against Enzo Amore this past week. Amore would eventually go on to face and lose the Cruiserweight title to Kalisto later that same night.

The heart of the matter

British superstar Marty Scurll recently took it to twitter and tweeted out claiming that he wants Neville as his junior tag team partner in NJPW.

Scurll is currently Bullet Club’s only junior heavyweight representative in the New Japan Pro Wrestling— after his fellow Bullet Club member Chase Owens was moved up to the heavyweight division.

However, judging by his recent tweet it seems like “The Villain” wants a tag team partner for himself following Neville’s rumored request release.

Neville has been a part of WWE’s cruiserweight division for well over 10 months, thus if he is to jump ship to NJPW then it would make sense for “The Man that Gravity Forgot” to join the Junior Heavyweight division in Japan.

What’s next?

There has not been any confirmation whether Neville is going to quit WWE or not, however, speculation suggests that the former NXT champion is willing to leave Vince McMahon’s company. As of right now, he continues to be an employee under the WWE banner.

As for Scurll and the Young Bucks, it is very much clear that they are rooting for Neville to quit WWE and eventually join their faction, the Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Author’s take

Neville has been in the Cruiserweight division for way too long and I personally want to see him quit WWE and sign for Gedo’s promotion NJPW. It’d be surely nice to see him sporting the black and white of the Bullet Club and be in a tag team with Marty Scrull at the same time.
