Author’s Take

As of lately, NJPW has been pulling off all kind of surprises, as noted during last year’s Power Struggle PPV, Mysterio’s WWE colleague Chris Jericho shockingly decided to appear in NJPW and challenged Kenny Omega to a match at this year’s Wrestle Kingdom show.

Also, a match between Rey Mysterio and Jushin “Thunder” Liger will be a dream come true for every single Pro Wrestling fan around the world and there is no doubt that this match will be an instant classic. The two men have also previously collided in WCW during Starrcade 1996.
