NXT has been packed with talented tag teams who are willing to do anything to reach the top. Some Superstars like Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn who debuted in NXT have made it to the main roster after thriving in the development territory. But soon American Alpha - Jason Jordan and Chad Gable may join the list of the many who got promoted to the main roster.
American Alpha had won the NXT Tag Team Championship by defeating The Revival - Dash and Dawson at NXT TakeOver: Dallas. But unfortunately, American Alpha lost their titles to The Revival at NXT TakeOver: The End. This was a sudden change of plans as Vince McMahon had originally wanted American Alpha to retain the title.
But prior to the match, McMahon informed the NXT officials to change the outcome and make The Revival win the tag team titles.
The WWE made a similar move for Kevin Owens when he lost his NXT Championship to Finn Balor and later made his Raw debut.
This has led to further speculation that American Alpha may become a part of the main roster after the WWE Draft. The Draft has been announced for July 11th .
