What's the story?

After a brutal tag-team match between The Authors of Pain and The Undisputed ERA a recently signed new WWE Tag-Team, War Machine, were shown at ringside, indicating they'll be heading to NXT soon.

War Machine weren't alone though, as Candice LeRae was also there at ringside with her and Johnny Gargano's children to support him in his NXT Title match against Andrade "Cien" Almas. Trevor Mann was also shown at ringside after the NXT Women's Title match.

In case you didn't know...

War Machine recently reported to the WWE Performance Center, joining the new wave of recruits that also features top independant singles competitor Ricochet, and hugely popular Mae Young Classic Competitor Candice LeRae.

There was some doubt surrounding War Machine's signing with the WWE as Hanson had picked up a previous injury that could have caused a problem with the tag-team passing their WWE medical. Thankfully all was good in the end.

The heart of the matter

That's right folks, War Machine have been spotted on WWE television for the first time at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia and that can only mean that they're heading to NXT to compete fairly soon.

Interestingly, despite suggestion that they'd need to change their name due to the unfortunate connection to the disgraced UFC fighter, the WWE referred to Raymond Rowe and Hanson as War Machine. This could be a sign that the WWE are going to allow them to keep the name that they made for themselves on the indy circuit.

The same can't be said for Ricochet who was also shown ringside but introduced using his real name Trevor "Ricochet" Mann, meaning we Ricochet might only be used a nickname.

What's next?

The special guest ring announcer for the first ever Women's Royal Rumble Match, Maria Menounos was also spotted at ringside, but is arguably significantly less exciting than War Machine or Ricochet.

Author's take

This confirms that Ricochet, War Machine and Candice LeRae will defintiely be heading to NXT first before we see them on the main roster, which is fine by me.
