NXT prepared for yet another hit show?

After an incredible show last week, WWE NXT is once again gearing up for tonight in hopes of topping the rating charts once again.

There are multiple Singles matches booked for the night that will see old rivals meeting inside the squared circle. While some have to avenge fresh betrayals, others will look to continue he feud from the past weeks.

Last week, Balor’s attack on Cole became the biggest highlight of the show as many speculated that the two might form an alliance on the roster. Additionally, Rhea Ripley has a few not-so-nice plans for Dakota Kai and the latter must be prepared.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at what can happen at NXT tonight.

#4 Rhea Ripley looks to settle the score with Dakota Kai

Dakota Kai turned heel and all hell broke loose!

At the last Takeover event, Dakota Kai turned heel and attacked Tegan Nox which left Rhea Ripley with just one member during her WarGames match against Shayna Baszler and her team.

After being betrayed by Kai, Ripley will now take on her in an attempt to avenge the actions of the former. The two are set to lock horns in a Singles match.

Kai’s former friends on the roster have been vocal about their unhappiness with regards to her actions and will root for Ripley who is quickly climbing through the ranks on the Black and Golden brand. In fact, she is being hailed as the future of Women’s division in WWE which speaks volumes about the trust that she has built up amidst the Creative as well as the fans.

Kai and Ripley’s match will definitely be an encounter that you wouldn’t want to miss. This will be the perfect opportunity for Kai to establish herself as a brutal heel while competing against Ripley who is popular for her casual wrath.

#3 Lio Rush continues to feud with Angel Garza

The brewing rivalry between Lio Rush and Angel Garza took a personal turn when the latter decided to taunt the champion with his demeaning actions around his family. He blew a kiss to Rush’s wife and even took his pants off while standing next to her.

An irked Rush is now adamant to seek revenge and send a message to the entire pro-wrestling world that he wouldn’t take any personal joke lightly. Garza is likely to feud with Rush for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship for a long time and the narration of that storyline has been compelling so far.

It looks like Garza will receive a huge push via this championship feud that will eventually see him win the title in the future. The Mexican Superstar is slowly finding his space in the business and a good rivalry with the ‘Man of the Hour’ will work wonders for him.

#2 Killian Dain set to compete with Damian Priest

Another match?
Another match?

Killian Dain and Damian Priest’s rivalry has picked up the intensity in the last few weeks. Both these Superstars were involved in a brutal triple-threat match at NXT Takeover: WarGames which was eventually won by Pete Dunne.

This week, Dain and Priest are once again set to lock horns in a Singles bout and are expected to deliver a good match. It’s not clear if Dain has entirely shifted his focus from Dunne to Priest but it looks like he is equally keen on brutalizing the latter.

For weeks, Dain had the entire NXT roster suffer the wrath of his fury while he was searching for a chance to settle things with Dunne who broke his finger. It will be interesting to see how the creative team weave Priest into the equation and have Dain look over his shoulders for two threatening forces.

Moreover, it is highly unlikely for Dunne to just sit back and watch Dain in the ring after what the latter has done to him and his friends in the last few weeks.

#1 Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era discuss Finn Balor

Last week on NXT, we saw Adam Cole coming to the aid of Finn Balor while the latter was squaring off against Tommaso Ciampa in the main event. Cole helped Balor in winning the match but ‘The Prince’ attacked the leader of the Undisputed Era with a well-executed Pele kick.

This move from Balor confirmed that he likes to walk alone, at least at the moment. All speculations about his possible alliance with the Undisputed Era have now been put to rest.

Tonight, Cole will address the actions that transpired last week and is expected to declare war against Balor. We could possibly see a brawl breaking out once again with the Undisputed Era brutalizing Balor but the fact that the latter has no allies on the roster could prove to be his detriment tonight.

Additionally, Cole is feuding with Ciampa who is adamant about getting his hands on the NXT gold. It would be interesting to see Cole’s outlook towards his rivals after learning the intentions of Balor.
