WWE NXT Results 13th September 2017, latest NXT winners, review and video highlights

NXT is as hot as ever right now. This week's episode was main-evented by a fantastic match between Pete Dunne and Wolfgang for the WWE UK Championship. Ruby Riot and a mystery partner faced the Iconic Duo of NXT - Billie Kay and Peyton Royce - while Johnny Gargano faced Riddick Moss.

Read on for full results and trust me, this episode was worth it.

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce vs Ruby Riot and mystery partner

We got a recap of Peyton Royce beating Ruby Riot last week with a little help from Billie Kay. This match started off like the handicap match that Ruby Riot had originally wanted. Riot did her best to take on both Aussies but she soon got outnumbered.

Nikki Cross came out of the crowd as Riot was getting beaten down and she slid her way to ringside. Eventually, Riot fought back by sending the Aussies crashing into each other and as she reeled in the corner, Cross got onto the apron and tagged herself in.

Cross took out both Royce and Kay, before hitting Kay with a nasty Swinging Neckbreaker following which she casually walked over to Riot and tagged her in, before walking off.

Ruby hit the Senton from the top rope and got the pinfall.

We got footage of Johnny Gargano in the Performance Center talking to reporters last week, when he was confronted by Riddick Moss and Tino Sabatelli. After the jocks goaded him, he challenged Moss to a match.

Johnny Gargano vs Riddick Moss (w/ Tino Sabatelli)

Moss showed his superior strength advantage early on as he took Gargano down with a shoulder charge. He continued with a bodyslam before tossing Gargano across the ring and pointing to Sabatelli dismissively. Gargano briefly looked like he could take advantage of Moss' overconfidence but Moss took him down with a nasty back elbow.

When we came back from commercial, Moss was still in control with an abdominal stretch. He followed it up with punches to the gut in the corner. Moss then charged at gargano who dodged him, sending Moss shoulder first into the corner.

Gargano rolled moss over and hit his trademark rolling kick. He then clotheslined Moss over the top rope and followed it up with a Canonball from the apron. With Moss back in the ring, Gargano tried to climb back in, only for Sabatelli to hold his feet and giving Moss the chance to hit a running boot.

Gargano broke out of an attempted Razor's Edge and hit a manoeuvred into the Garga-No-Escape but Moss managed to escape and reach the ropes. Gargano had a look of disbelief on his face and Moss used the chance to wipe Gargano out.

Back on the apron, Gargano avoided interference by Sabatelli and booted him in the face before hitting Moss with the Slingshot Spear and that was it, 1-2-3.

They're doing interesting things with Gargano right now. It looks like he's doubting himself and this story could get really interesting as we go on.

Street Profits vs Ealy Brothers

Street Profits are one of the hottest new tag-teams in NXT right now. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford are continued the Red Cup Revolution as the faced the Ealy Brothers.

Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford dominated from the beginning as they doubled-teamed the Ealy's one at a time before the twins used their version of Twin Magic as Gabriel came in and wiped Ford out with a clotheslined. He tagged his brother in before Ford made a tag of his own.

Dawkins came in hot and took down both Ealy's before hitting each with a Running Corkscrew Splash in opposite corners. He followed it up with a Pop-Up Spinebuster on Gabriel Ealy before Ford hit a Frog Splash and covered him for the 3-count.

The party continued after the match as the Street Profits celebrated with the fans in Full Sail.

Asuka's video farewell

We go a package highlight Asuka's time in NXT from her debut to her farewell last week. Needless to say it was pretty emotional. I really hope WWE Creative is ready for Asuka because Asuka is ready for WWE.

Following the video, we got an update from William Regal which was barely an update as he promised to give his actual update next week.

Pete Dunne (C) vs Wolfgang (for the WWE UK Championship)

Wolfgang and Tyler Bate defeated Pete Dunne and Trent Seven before NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. After being the one to pin Dunne, Wolfgang got his shot at the WWE UK Championship and the big man didn't disappoint.

Dunne came out to a massive babyface pop from the fans in Full Sail, it's clear that the Bruiserweight is set for big things in WWE. Wolfgang didn't look impressed at all.

Dunne tried to lock in a wristlock early on but Wolfgang replied with a bodyslam. Unperturbed and still holding on to Wolfgang's wrist, Dunne pulled him down as he maneuvered and manipulated Wolfgang's joints, even working on Wolfgang's index finger at one point.

Wolfgang, back on hsi feet, traded hammerlocks with Dunne before taking Dunne down with a cravat. Dunne got to the ropes and immediately hit Wolfgang with a running forearm after he left go. Wolfgang replied with belly-to-back suplexes before hitting a Gut Wrench Suplex which he followed up with a running crossbody into the corner.

The big man headed to the top rope but Dunne got up and simply got up on the turnbuckle with Wolfgang and snapped at one of his fingers forcing Wolfgang back down onto the apron. Dunner followed it up with a DDT onto the apron as we headed to commercial.

When we came back from the break, Dunne had a Guillotine Hold locked in but the Last King of Scotland replied with a suplex. He followed it up with a massive spear forcing Dunne to roll outside.Wolfgang followed it up with a dive over the top ropes. Rolling Dunne back into the ring, Wolfgang hit a Moonsault for a nearfall.

Dunne got up and hit an X-Plex before heading to the top rope. Wolfgang managed to meet him there and hit a superplex. He then headed to the top rope and looked for a Swanton. Dunne was lying in wait and he locked in a triangle hold but he had to break free.

Wolfgang replied with a Pop-Up Powerslam but Dunne kicked out at the last second. Dunne crawled to the ropes as Wolfgang waited to put in the finishing touches. Dunne avoided Wolfgang's offence and hit a German Suplex. After eating a clothesline, Dunner replied with a forearm before hitting Wolfgang with The Bitter End for the win.

As Dunne celebrated, he was joined by Adam Cole, Kyle O' Reilly and Bobby Fish. Surrounded, Dunne hit O' Reilly with a forearm but soon got overrun by the numbers game. Wolfgang came back to help Dunne, who slid out of the ring and walked away as the trio took Wolfgang apart. As the left the ring and walked out of the arena, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven came out to the ring to check on Wolfgang.
