Sonya Deville vs Lacey Evans
Daria Berenato debuted her new ring-name Sonya Deville on this episode. Deville, a former MMA fighter and Tough Enough contestant who’d previously performed in NXT under her real name, took on one of the new additions to NXT’s women’s division - Lacey Evans.
Deville hit Evans with knees strikes as soon as the bell rang and then took her down a clothesline. Evans blocked Deville’s next kick and hit back with a couple of right handed strikes but they didn’t have much effect.

Deville replied with a double-leg takedown for a 1 and followed it up with a double-leg bodylock. Deville transitioned into a roll to pin Evans for a 1-count. Deville then took her gloves off, literally, and hit Evans with straight right hands to the midsection. Evans replied with a right hand off her own that knocked Deville off her feet. Evans followed it up with a jumping kick followed by a rolling neckbreaker for a 2-count.
Deville then hit a running enzeguiri to pick up the win abruptly.
