Huge match announced to fill the final spot in the NXT Women's Championship match at TakeOver: WarGames

Before the next match, we saw some backstage footage of The Undisputed Era giving Roderick Strong a t-shirt in the car-park.

We also got an incredibly exciting announcement courtesy of NXT General Manager William Regal who told us, and Billie Kay, that the final slot in the NXT Women's Championship match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames will be determined by a huge battle royal.

Raul Mendoza vs Aleister Black

The Velveteen Dream can't prevent Aleister Black from winning

Next, there was a match between Aleister Black and Raul Mendoza, except Velveteen Dream remained true to form and continued his interference of Aleister Black matches. Unfortunately for Raul Mendoza, he was unable to put Black away, even with Dream distracting Black by stealing and putting his vest on.

The match started off with Velveteen Dream distracting Aleister Black, allowing Mendoza to get a flurry of offence in, and put Black down for an incredibly rare two-count.

However, Black caught Mendoza's leg when he tried to put Black away, and proceeded to finish things off with his patented Black Mass.

After the match Aleister looked irritated towards Velveteen Dream, in what must be the first time he's acknowledged him. Is Velveteen Dream finally getting to him?
