Lacey Evans vs Bianca Belair
NXT's women's division is only getting stronger by the week. We got a match between Lacey Evans and Bianca Belair tonight, both Mae Young Classic competitors. Both women have a big upside but I predict Bianca Belair to go on to become a big star in years to come, she has IT.
Both women came out to big ovations from the fans in Full Sail as the match got underway. Belair took control early on, taking advantage of her size and strength advantage. She hit a Double Chickenwing song early on for a nearfall before Lacey hit back with a sweet sprigboard elbow drop from the apron.
Evans followed it up with a flurry of right hands and knee strikes as Belair looked to be in a spot of bother for a few moments. Belair hit back by sending Lacey Evans face-first into the turnbuckle. She then took her hair and whipped Evans across the back and the sound reverberated around Full Sail, drawing gasps from fans.
Belair then picked Evans up and hit her with a Reverse Powerslam to pick up the win. Both these ladies have bright futures ahead.
