WWE NXT Results 29th November 2017, latest NXT winners, review and video highlights

We follow up NXT TakeOver with a set of live matches from San Antonio, Texas. The show was headed by Mustache Mountain facing Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews.

Street Profits vs Tino Sabatelli and Riddick Moss

The feud between these two teams continued in San Antonio. Street Profits came out to a big pop from the fans in Texas and were followed out by Moss and Sabatelli.

The Street Profits started off strong before Sabatelli came to the rescue for his team. However, Sabatelli was too busy gloating to fans to take advantage. Ford did a kip up as Sabatelli turned around before leapfrogging him and hitting a dropkick.

Sabatelli and Moss looked to have picked up the win a little later when Moss hit Dawkins with a cheapshot from ringside and then held his feet down as Sabatelli pinned him. The referee saw this and broke up the count before Ford hit a cannonball from the apron to wipe him out.

Dawkins then hit Sabatelli with the pop-up spinebuster which Montez Ford followed up with a Frog Splash for the win.

We got a video package hyping up Lars Sullivan which reminded me of the old Nathan Jones vignette’s back in the day.

Kairi Sane vs Peyton Royce

The winner of the MYC Kairi Sane faced off against one half of the Iconic Duo – Peyton Royce. Royce was in no mood for games and started off with a nasty forearm before taking Kairi down with an armdrag.

Royce got frustrated as Kairi kept on avoiding her offence. The Pirate Princess then took Royce down before a distraction from Kay let Royce hit a spinning roundhouse kick for a nearfall. Kairi rolled Royce up but it was just a 2-count and Royce wiped her out with a short-armed clothesline.

Royce took control with a headlock but Kairi managed to power herself back to her feet and hit a blockbuster. Kairi then did her trademark plank walk to set up the sliding forearm in the corner. Kairi headed to the top rope to finish Royce off but missed with her famous elbow drop. Royce took advantage and hit a knee to the face for a nearfall.

Kairi hit back with some stiff kicks to Royce’s back. Kay got on the apron to make a distraction but Sane knocked her off with a shoulder charge. She then headed to the top rope and hit the Insane Elbow for the win.

Tyler Bate and Trent Seven vs Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews teamed up with Pete Dunne in an attempt to get himself a title shot.

Dunne feinted a tag early on and turned around and smacked Bate in the face. Bate hit back hrd forcing Dunne to tag in Andrews as Trent Seven tagged in. Andrews ran rings around Seven with his superior speed in the opening exchanges before Dunne got tagged back in.

Trent Seven hit Dunne with a couple of hard knife-edged chops before faking a third and making Dunne duck, making Seven immediately hit a DDT.

We came back from the break to see the Superstars laying into each other, hitting harder and harder. Dunne and Andrews isolated Seven. Dunne got distracted for a second facing off with his own teammate which gave Seven an opening to hit a clothesline. Seven then tagged in Bate.

Bate threw around uppercuts before hitting an exploder suplex for a 2-count. Andrews tagged himself in at this point and hit a Frankensteiner-Powerbomb combo. Bate kicked out at 2 and a half and then hit Dunne with the “Bop and Bang”. A flurry of action led to Bate hitting Dunner with a nasty German suplex, forcing the UK Champion to make a tag.

Bate took Andrews on an airplane spin ride leading to Dunne having to tag himself back in. Dunne connected with a right hand but Bate bounced of the ropes to hit an uppercut. He then hit Dunne with the Tyler Driver 97 for the win.
