Askua confronts Ember Moon
NXT Women’s Champion Asuka came out next. The ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ came down to the ring in formal attire and said that she’d beaten Ember once and would do it once again before declaring that Ember wasn’t ready to wrestle her.
Ember’s music hit at this point as she came down to the ring. Ember said that she’d been devastated when she picked up her injury and had worked hard to get back to be here and on contrary to what Asuka thought, she was ready to win the NXT Championship.
Asuka offered to shake Ember’s hand but took it back when Ember reached out to shake it. Asuka then slapped Ember across the face. Moon hit back with a forearm but Asuka still got the better of her and dumped Ember outside the ring.
Asuka then celebrated with the NXT Championship but unbeknownst to her, Ember got onto the top turnbuckle and hit flattened Asuka with The Eclipse.
Ember then started at the NXT Women’s Championship belt before leaving the ring, with Asuka still laid out.
