Backstage interview with Bobby Roode
We caught up with Bobby Roode backstage. Roode said that he’d disposed of Roderick Strong and now looked forward to talking to Drew McIntyre in the ring next week.
We heard a commotion at this point and it was a bunch of NXT stars holding back Roderick Strong as he tried to get to Roode. Roode looked petrified as he scurried away just as William Regal arrived. Regal reprimanded Strong and said that his hand were tied since it was going to be Roode vs McIntyre at Brooklyn.
However, this could be hinting that Roddy might get added to that match and I really hope he does.
We got another vignette for NXT’s newest tag-team, Street Profits. They look like a modern play on Cryme Tyme and this could work out. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have chemistry together but will that transition to success in NXT?
