The United Kingdom Championship match was as hard-hitting as fans expected. NXT UK had a chance to show off for the American crowd with then-champion Pete Dunne and Walter.

The Bruiserweight's incredible reign of 685 days ended at TakeOver when Walter put him away after a hellacious 25-minute brawl. Post-match, Dunne stated that there would definitely be a rematch.

After that, we saw the incredible journey that Johnny Gargano had taken. Johnny Wrestling traveled a long and bumpy road on his way to his first reign as NXT Champion, but all his hard work paid off in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match against the Undisputed Era's Adam Cole.

It was a match of the year contender, full of nonstop action and highlights. Even with the Undisputed Era interfering late in the match, Gargano managed to rise to the challenge, forcing Cole to tap out to the Gargano Escape.

Next week, Buddy Murphy will challenge Velveteen Dream for the NXT North American Championship in his return to the brand. Murphy hasn't been on NXT since the breakup of Blake & Murphy.

Aichner and Montez Ford started off the match while the crowd rained NXT chants down upon them. Aichner and Barthel looked to get an early lead in the match, taking out Dawkins, but Ford leveled them both with a split single leg dropkick. Barthel, now legal, caught Ford with a kick as he looked to springboard over the turnbuckle.

Now on top, the European Union of Barthel and Aichner went to work on Ford, tenderizing him with stiff uppercuts and boots. Ford escaped a back suplex, but was caught as he went for a tag. Barthel tagged Aichner in and launched him into his partner, who was planted with a spinebuster. Barthel followed up with a running kick to the face before leaving the ring.

Ford fought out of a Aichner's grasp for a pinfall, but Aichner escaped. Ford finally made it to Dawkins, who came in with a huge amount of momentum, delivering some impressive exploder suplexes and fallaway slams to Aichner and Barthel. Dawkins and Ford looked for their finish, but as Ford tagged back in, Barthel knocked him off the top rope.

Aichner sent Dawkins outside, then he and Barthel delivered a pair of brutal dropkicks to Ford who was stuck in a modified tree of woe. Barthel dove onto Dawkins as Aichner connected with a double jump springboard moonsault. Ford was set up for a powerbomb/forearm combo, but avoided the arm from Barthel.

Dawkins speared Aichner and focused on Barthel, now the legal man. The Street Profits put him away with an avalanche Blockbuster.

Results: The Street Profits defeated Aichner & Barthel via pinfall.
