Roderick Strong is a former WWE NXT North American Champion who is known for his great skills in the ring. Since parting with The Undisputed ERA, Strong has gone through a massive change in his character.

He is currently part of a new faction known as Diamond Mine. Instead of aiming for the North American Championship or the NXT Championship, Strong has his eyes set on the Cruiserweight title of the company.

KUSHIDA defeated Santos Escobar for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship and has since enjoyed a good reign. He will come across his toughest challenger on Tuesday night in the form of Roderick Strong.

The Messiah of the Backbreaker has the necessary momentum heading into the clash. He has picked up a few victories and needs to win a title to make Diamond Mine a prominent faction.

The current champion has a lot to prove in this contest, especially after his non-title loss to Kyle O’Reilly. Will the titles change hands on NXT before Strong begins his journey as the leader of 205 Live?
