Adam Cole has been trying to prove a point to the WWE NXT Universe. Cole believes that he’s the best in all of WWE, and no Undisputed ERA member can match his abilities. His jealousy is what drove him to end the faction after Kyle O’Reilly started getting major opportunities ahead of him.
KOR is looking to exact revenge on his former friend and has nothing else to prove to the NXT Universe. On the other hand, Cole has a lot to prove to the NXT Universe as he wants to show everyone that he is indeed the better superstar and always deserved the chances he got.
At TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, fans will watch the two men hit their finishers on each other several times. However, Cole could get the final big spot, where he hits a devastating Last Shot to finally put O’Reilly away to win the match.
The victory could allow Cole to once again get in the hunt for the NXT Championship, while KOR can move onto other rivalries. Cole has been the bigger name in NXT, the creative team could look to keep things that way post-TakeOver.
