#4 Pete Dunne interferes in the title match at WWE NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver
Karrion Kross isn’t the only WWE Superstar who has his eyes set on the NXT Championship. Before Kross decided to enter the NXT title picture, Pete Dunne was trying his best to take The Prince down.
At NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day, Dunne tried to defeat Balor for the NXT Championship. Although Dunne failed to win the title, he has remained a significant presence ever since.
On an episode of NXT a couple of weeks ago, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch continued to claim that The Bruiserweight deserved to win the NXT title.
Dunne currently does not have a match scheduled for Night Two of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, and that could allow him to appear during Kross vs. Balor. The former NXT UK Superstar could interfere during the match to get back into the NXT Championship picture.
Dunne could end up causing a disqualification in the bout to build towards a future triple threat match for the NXT title.
On the other hand, he could also put Kross's chances of winning in jeopardy, only to suffer the latter's wrath. This would allow Balor to retain the title for longer.
