The Viking Raiders relinquished the NXT Tag Team Championship earlier this month, claiming that no team was worthy enough to win it from them. Saturday night, former titleholders Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish, The Forgotten Sons, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan, and The Street Profits battled in a Fatal 4-Way Ladder match to crown the new champions.
The Forgotten Sons put on a great performance in this one, establishing themselves as one of the better tag teams in NXT. Their performance has established them as the next one-on-one contenders for the title.
In a surprising turn of events, it was The Street Profits who managed to win the title and show how NXT is indeed the land of opportunities as compared to the other two main brands.
The entire match and the booking helped put even more faith into NXT and Triple H’s rule.
