WWE orders Comic Book producers to remove CM Punk from future editions

CM Punk to be removed from graphical novels

The Paper Cutz comic book producers have been informed by WWE to remove former WWE Superstar CM Punk’s pictures from all the future reprints of graphic novels featuring WWE characters and story lines. The issues featuring Punk are currently out of print but are still available at some stores across the country.

WWE has told the Paper Cutz that Punk must be edited out of the stories that he his featured, for any future reprints. It is said that WWE has no longer the rights to use Punk’s name or image as his deal was officially terminated back in October 2014.

It is considered to be a big move from WWE as they are also having him edited off from past DVD’s or DVD’s of PPV events. There is no word as to which Superstar might replace Punk in the comic books.
