WWE RAW 1st February 2016- 3 Things That Did Not Work

The Wyatt family dominates

All of the buxx around the Divas may have taken a major hitWhile we had a great interaction between Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar, Stephanie McMahon trying to break the remaining members of The Shield apart, Rusev and Kalisto’s good match, Sasha Banks booking and The Miz working wonders as a heel, this show was still lacking in parts. There were things that were either redundant or uninteresting, to say the least. The opening segment was great and the main event, though, not as great as what kicked off Raw, yet, it still worked. But in between all of that, some things still need work. Here are 3 things from the show that just did not work-

#1 Big Show Vs Erick Rowan

The Wyatt family dominates

Okay, so Erick Rowan and Big Show had a match and you just can’t have two of the least interesting characters on the roster, make something highly interesting.

Two giants faced off and both of them hurled themselves at each other like a wrecking ball, but not much of a story came out of it.

Big Show’s countless character turns and Rowan having a non-existent character development hampers this feud a lot. Been there, seen that with these two. But there are more matches to come, at least, that is what Raw indicated towards.

#2 Titus O\'Neil Vs Tyler Breeze

Breeze has been buried on the main roster.Nos shocking news, there.

Tyler Breeze is the latest NXT recruit, who no matter what will be an MVP whenever he steps foot in developmental again, but has been buried so deep in the main roster just like The Ascension.

Breeze lost to Titus O’Neil. Now O’Neil is not a jobber like any of the Social Outcasts but despite being really talented, he is relegated to doing redundant segments and matches. This was one of them and Breeze lost to O Niel and there is nothing much that happened.

At least, Breeze and Summer Rae had something entertaining going on but that has been shoved aside as well.

#3 Brie Bella in the title picture

Brie Bella is now in the title picture after defeating Charlotte

Okay, so clearly WWE is reserving a triple threat match for the Divas Championship for Wrestlemania, at least, that is what it seems with Charlotte, Banks and Lynch getting to their Fastlane feuds.

Banks broke off with Team B.A.D and got attacked by them eventually leading to Lynch being the best babyface and helping the one in turmoil. Charlotte lost to Brie Bella and now the latter is in the title chase.

Of course, but that’s all maybe some hype for Total Divas. There is generally no heat in this program and Brie Bella is nearly not as over as she was during her feud with Stephanie McMahon, much of it was great because McMahon is a great heel.

Anyway, this feud seems like a miss so far.
