WWE RAW: 3 Biggest Things WWE could be planning for this week's show - will NXT invade again?

Another NXT Invasion in the cards?
Another NXT Invasion in the cards?

This week's WWE RAW comes live to us from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY.

The WWE Universe is definitely in for some amazing wrestling action in the weeks to come, as evidenced from last week's eventful episode of SmackDown Live.

With Survivor Series being marketed as a showcase of three brands at war with one another, expect to see some tremendous drama and brilliant segments tonight on RAW. NXT reigned supreme on last week's edition of SmackDown and there just might be another invasion planned for tonight's RAW.

One thing to love about Survivor Series is that one never knows what might happen in the build up to wrestling's fall classic. With three brands working simultaneously, WWE creative can do anything they'd like and shock fans on a weekly basis.

Another thing to note is that Survivor Series is scheduled for November 24th, while NXT Takeover: War Games is going to take place a day prior on November 23rd. It will be interesting to see how WWE manages to build towards two separate pay-per-views with NXT.

On that note, let's take a look at the three biggest things WWE might be planning for this week's edition of Monday Night RAW.

#3. Roderick Strong is taken out by The OC

Undisputed Era
Undisputed Era

It is possible that The OC and Undisputed Era will come face to face in the upcoming weeks, as we near Survivor Series. The United States Champion AJ Styles and the NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong will quite possibly come up against each other at Survivor Series, as we will see the best of the three brands take on each other at the pay-per-view. It only makes sense that the United States Champion takes on his Black & Gold brand equivalent in Strong.

So, the question is, who will instigate the first attack and gain the upper hand in the battle of heel stables? That question could very well be answered tonight on RAW. The OC might be the ones to gain the upper hand and wrestling fans could see them attack Strong in either a backstage segment, a promo segment, or after a match. Such a move would initiate all out war between the two heel stables.

#2 Rhea Ripley confronts Charlotte Flair

On SmackDown last week, we saw Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox destroy both Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville when NXT invaded the Blue brand. Rhea Ripley, the first-ever United Kingdom Women's Champion, has quickly risen up the ranks to become one of WWE's most talented female Superstars.

Over the years, comparisons have been made between Ripley and Charlotte Flair. This is due primarily to both Superstars being of similar stature with an abundance of talent in the squared circle.

WWE managed to give its fan base two dream matches last week on the Blue brand - The Miz vs Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole vs Daniel Bryan. Will they give us another dream bout between Ripley and Flair this week on RAW? Only time will tell.

One thing is for certain, if these two women come up against one another on Monday Night RAW, expect the WWE Universe to go absolutely bonkers, as there is no doubt that Flair and Ripley could deliver an absolute classic. A match between the two Superstars would also help in building Rhea Ripley as the future of the Women's Division in WWE.

#1 Brock Lesnar goes after Rey Mysterio - The Fiend attacks Lesnar

As we saw on last week's SmackDown, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar quit the Blue brand following the events at Crown Jewel. After defeating Cain Velasquez in Saudi Arabia, 'The Beast Incarnate' took multiple chair shots from RAW Superstar Rey Mysterio, which left him seeking revenge of his own.

On SmackDown, Paul Heyman said that Lesnar is quitting the Blue brand and coming after Rey Mysterio on Monday Night RAW. The WWE Universe can expect Rey Mysterio to suffer another brutal attack from 'The Beast.'

This time, however, there could be a twist. As we near Survivor Series, many wrestling fans are excited for the imminent Lesnar and 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt confrontation as champions on separate brands traditionally clash at the pay-per-view.

Therefore, it would make complete sense for The Fiend to show up after Mysterio's beatdown and lock a mandible claw on 'The Beast.' Such an event would kick of a huge feud between the two heading into Survivor Series.
