Are we in line for another explosive segment featuring The Animal on the upcoming episode of Raw?
Are we in line for another explosive segment featuring The Animal on the upcoming episode of Raw?

The last edition of Monday Night Raw received mixed reviews from the crowd. While it had its fair share of highs and lows, it was predictable as well as a bit underwhelming for the most part. In WWE's defence, two high profile names of the roster in the likes of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose did not feature on the show, neither did Becky Lynch. However, the main event featuring Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre was clearly the highlight of the show.

Thus, Creative would be under pressure to deliver on the upcoming episode of Raw, given the WrestleMania season is in its prime.

Well talking of WrestleMania, WWE's biggest pay-per-view of the year, WrestleMania 35 is just 2 weeks away. While WWE has already announced nearly half of the match card, expect a few of the rumoured clashes to be confirmed in the upcoming week.

Apart from officially announcing a few high profile matches for April 7, the upcoming episode of Raw would also continue hyping and building up to 'Mania 35. On top of that, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are also being advertised for the show. All in all, the upcoming episode looks promising.

So, without further ado, we take a look at 3 interesting things which could happen on the upcoming episode of Raw.

#3 Contract signing between Batista and Triple H turns chaotic

Chaos could take the centre stage when the duo comes face to face
Chaos could take the centre stage when the duo comes face to face

Batista will collide with The Game, Triple H in a No Holds Barred match on April 7. While the duo has been firing verbal volleys on each other for the past couple of weeks, this upcoming episode of Raw could feature the duo coming face to face for the contract signing. To be honest, we all know how these segments turn out. Don't we?

Yes, things could turn out chaotic sooner than later. Also, in order to make Batista unstoppable and draw heat, WWE could have him powerbomb Triple H through the table.

All in all, it would be quite an interesting segment if /when it happens on the upcoming episode of Raw.

#2 The mind games take the centre stage when The Beast and Seth Rollins come face to face

The last edition of Monday Night Raw featured Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre in the main event of the show. However, a distraction caused by Brock Lesnar cost Seth Rollins the match as he succumbed to Drew McIntyre's Claymore kick.

Thus, the upcoming episode of Raw may feature a fired up Seth Rollins calling out Brock Lesnar. However, as history has shown us on numerous occasions how good The Beast plays these mind games with his prey under the guidance of his Advocate Paul Heyman, expect similar scenarios to unfold on the upcoming Monday Night.

WWE could have Lesnar show up only to pull out on the very last moment to tease Seth Rollins. This would not only increase the heartbeat of fans but it would also frustrate and miff The Architect.

#1 WWE officially announces Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 35

The Demon is being advertised for WrestleMania 35
The Demon is being advertised for WrestleMania 35

The Demon King is being advertised by the WWE for WrestleMania 35. And even though WWE is yet to officially announce his opponent for the Show of Shows, all this could very well change on the upcoming episode of Raw.

After The Almighty defeated The Boss of the Balor Club for the Intercontinental Championship two weeks ago on Raw, their rivalry took a new turn, and given the recent turn of events, expect this feud to conclude at The Grandest Stage of them All.

As a matter of fact, Finn Balor in a recent interview might have teased the same.

Thus, expect WWE to officially announce Finn Balor vs Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship for 'Mania 35 this Monday night on Raw. And with The Demon being advertised for the event, this would not only be a bit different from their previous clashes and set up a classic match between two stalwarts of WWE but would also give the Creative about one week's time to hype and build the match.
