#2 Why did WWE tease a men’s championship unification?
Just like WWE has done for decades, they relied on the good old bait and switch gimmick to get the fans excited at the beginning of the night and send them home with a bit more hatred towards the creative.

Seth Rollins accepted Kofi Kingston’s challenge to a Champion vs. Champion Winner Takes All main event for the night, which was conveniently interrupted by The Bar and turned into a tag team match with nothing on the line.
But there must be a reason behind WWE teasing a possible men’s championship unification too, right? Becky Lynch is now both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion, and fans got exactly what they wanted at WrestleMania in almost all the matches.
Did WWE tease a men’s Winner Takes All clash to see how the crowd would react before, during, and after the show for a future match of this sort? Or did they just do it for fun and it will never be mentioned again? We will surely find out sooner than later.
