WWE Raw: 5 biggest things noted on the episode after WrestleMania 35

Just under 24 hours since WWE presented one of the most noteworthy WrestleManias in the event's history, the company looked to keep the hype rolling on what's traditionally the most ‘rowdy' RAW of the year.

WWE actually gave us a good show on April 8, with some surprise appearances and some goodbyes. However, it was still not as explosive as some of the WrestleMania fall-out episodes of RAW in recent years.

Still, there were some really clear takeaways from the RAW after 'Mania. Here, we present 5 of them.

#1 The Undertaker wasn't needed at WrestleMania 35

The Undertaker missed a WrestleMania after almost 2 decades of being a top attraction on the show. From the start of the year, rumors had confirmed for us that Undertaker won't be wrestling on the Showcase of Immortals this year, yet all of us expected him to make an appearance. Alas! It all led to disappointment, as 'Mania's 35th edition entered the history books without the Deadman's name on any page.

But on the RAW after 'Mania, The Undertaker made a surprise appearance to interrupt Elias. And as great as it felt, we have to wonder why it couldn't have been the case one night ago. This could have been much more special with a completely different gimmick.

The only thing we can make out is that The Undertaker couldn't find a spot in the show that went for over 8 hours. It's sad since we had been dreaming of a Sting and Undertaker face off. WWE clearly didn't feel it.

The Undertaker's relationship with Vince McMahon has been a bit strained recently, with the Deadman making outside appearances. We wonder if it had something to do with his non-appearance at WrestleMania 35.

#2 Big E and Xavier Woods won't turn heel

Was it a nice surprise to see the New Day on RAW? Of course, it was. Big E, Xavier Woods and the new WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston, interrupted the new Universal Champion, Seth Rollins, to kick off the WrestleMania fall-out episode of RAW.

Besides giving us a big main event for the night, the segment dropped us a hidden message, killing all the speculations of anyone from the New Day turning heel. It'd make no sense to turn them heel anytime soon, anyway. Perhaps, WWE may split them up in the next WWE draft, or maybe two of the three members of the New Day could be coming to RAW.

Whatever the case may be, don't expect either of Woods or Big E to stab Kingston. For now, WWE needs to keep all 3 men as “faces,” and continue building them up as big stars.

#3 Dean Ambrose has officially left

Will Dean Ambrose leave or stay? It has been the “Question of the Day” every day for quite some time now. Ever since the news of Ambrose leaving WWE became public knowledge, fans have been guessing, speculating, and at times, hoping the Lunatic Fringe's departure story was all a work.

However, things became clear on the RAW after 'Mania as Ambrose wrestled his last WWE match against Lashley. Ambrose came to address the audience after the show went off the air, giving his farewell speech and sharing some more moments with his Shield brethren.

It's sad for many WWE fans, but hey, we'll follow him elsewhere as well. Unless WWE still has some kind of swerve planned for us (I won't let the rumors die), but as it stands our beloved Dean Ambrose has left WWE.

#4 Brock Lesnar may have already left

Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins wrestled in the opening match of the WrestleMania 35 main show. Lesnar brutally attacked and dominated Rollins, until the latter used a low blow to turn the tide.

Then, he ended the match with multiple curb stomps. It was weird to see Lesnar lose so quickly, but his absence on the following RAW tells us why it went as it did.

It's no secret that Lesnar plans to return to UFC and fight Daniel Cormier later this year. There had always been rumors of Lesnar leaving WWE after WrestleMania. It was one of the main reasons why Seth Rollins had been strongly predicted to win the title. As things stand now, if Lesnar does not show up on the WWE draft next week, don't expect to see him in a WWE ring anytime soon.

Meanwhile, Cormier took time off to troll Lesnar on Twitter.

#5 Lacey Evans will win the Women's Championship in 2019

The Lady of WWE, Lacey Evans, has appeared in almost every show this year, walking along the ramp, before turning and leaving without getting into the squared-circle. Nobody knew what to make out from all her appearances until Evans interrupted Becky Lynch on the RAW after 'Mania.

The Southern Sassy Belle chose to punch The Man on RAW, inciting Lynch to attack her. As a result, a brawl between the two broke out. The two athletes berated each other till the referees came to separate them.

It looks like the dual champ may have just received her first challenger. And that challenger looks like a star. Evans is everything WWE wants in its women stars, and more.

Previously, she had proven in the inaugural Mae Young Classic, and then on NXT that she's a great in-ring performer. Also, she has a unique gimmick. Evidently, Evans has some backstage attention, and it should do her good.

Evans has stardom written all over her, and if things go right for her, she should win her first main roster Women's Championship before 2019 ends.
