Bobby Lashley is already the United States Champion but he was happy to step into a match against Keith Lee in order to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. Lashley and Keith Lee had never faced off before and Lashley struggled to lock in the Hurt Lock on Lee which meant that he had to turn to a much more vicious approach in the match.
At one point the two men were battling on the outside when Lashley picked Lee up and it was obvious that he was struggling with WWE's Limitless One on his shoulders. Lee was carried over to the ring post and Lashley then jumped down onto his knees and tried to throw Lee into the post but didn't get the momentum he needed.
Instead, Lashley collided with the post head first and for the rest of the match, he was bleeding from the side of his head. Lee was able to make the move look as though it hit, but it was obvious that Lashley came off much worse than his opponent.
