#2 Gave Lacey Evans a story which can help her move up
Lacey Evans' move to the main roster was hyped a lot and The Sassy Southern Belle immediately got in contention for the RAW Women’s Championship.
After repeated attempts to win the title, The Lady was unsuccessful and pushed down the ranks in the weeks that followed. Evans then managed to get into a decent feud with Natalya which kept her relevant even though their matches weren’t up to the mark.
This week on RAW, Natalya challenged The Kabuki Warriors to a match and surprised everyone by picking Lacey Evans as her partner.
While the pairing seemed odd at first, it started to turn out to be something great for Evans. It seemed like Evans required someone to carry the first half of the match for her, which Natalya did perfectly before she could take the offense later on. Even though Evans ended up getting pinned, it was a decent outing for her.
A move to SmackDown could help her get in the SmackDown Women’s Championship picture sooner than later with the absence of Charlotte Flair on the brand.
