#2 Worst - Billie Kay and Peyton Royce's match on WWE RAW didn't click
Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, The IIconics, split up last week on RAW. The duo were never really pushed as a force during their time on the main roster. Even when they held the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, their booking wasn't particularly strong. There are now reports that WWE have plans to push Peyton Royce as a singles star. We potentially saw the first stage of this push on RAW tonight.
For a match between two former tag team partners, there wasn't really a lot of heat between Royce and Kay. As a massive fan of The IIconics, I left the match disappointed because both Superstars are definitely capable of a lot better.
With Peyton Royce picking up the win, it will be interesting to see where we go from here. Royce could be someone who challenges Asuka for the RAW Women's Championship in the future While watching this, I just couldn't help but wonder if it would have been a better idea to keep Billie Kay and Peyton Royce together and have them turn babyface to challenge Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
