Kurt Angle made a surprise appearance at the WWE Live Event in Sy

WWE took the show on the road down-under to Sydney, Australia for one of the biggest live shows of the year featuring a Sydney Street Fight between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman as the main event of the night. Neville put his Cruiserweight Title on the line in a match against Enzo Amore while The Hardy Boyz faced longtime rivals, the team of Cesaro & Sheamus.

#1 The Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus & Cesaro

The Hardy Boyz faced the former RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus & Cesaro in an action-packed match to kick off the RAW Live event in Sydney, Australia. Jeff Hardy has been having a good singles run ltely, managing to get himself a shot for the Intercontinental Championship on RAW, but the Hardys are always at their best in a tag-team environment. The Hardys defeated Sheamus and Cesaro, concluding a great starting match for the night.

#2 Neville vs. Enzo Amore (c) (Cruiserweight Championship Match)

Cruiserweight Champion Neville put his title on the line against Enzo Amore in the second match of the night. The two put on a great match but the King of the Cruiserweights proved his worth by getting an easy win in the end and retaining his Cruiserweight Championship.

Result: Neville (c) def. Enzo Amore and retained the Cruiserweight Championship

#3 Battle Royale (to decide the #1 Contender for Intercontinental Championship)

A huge battle royale took place between a big chunk of the RAW roster which was won by none other than Kurt Angle's illegitimate son, Jason Jordan. The match was more of a crazy mashup of big moves from the superstars one after the other and it was kinda hard to make out what was going on, at least for the first few minutes. Jason Jordan picked up the victory in the end and earned the #1 Contender spot for The Miz's IC title.

#4 Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Finn Balor faced one of his most formidable opponents in one of the most dramatic matches of the night. It was easy to see the psychology that went behind the match and both performers showed off their skills in front of a very excited audience. Finn Balor got the victory after a very even fight between the two.

#5 Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma vs. Mickie James vs. Sasha Banks (Fatal 5-Way Match for RAW Women's Championship)

Alexa Bliss faced her former best friend Nia Jax along with Emma, Mickie James and Sasha Banks in a huge Fatal 5-Way Match for the WWE RAW Women's Title. The second title match of the night proceeded with a flurry of action from the five women, with Alexa defending her title with a lot of intent. Alexa retained in the end though, squashing all hopes of being the champion for the other four women.

Result: Alexa Bliss def. Nia Jax, Emma, Mickie James, and Sasha Banks to retain the RAW Women's Championship


#6 The Miz (c) vs. Jason Jordan (Intercontinental Championship Match)

Jason Jordan won the Battle Royale previously on the night and earned himself the #1 Contender's spot for the IC Championship and it was time for him to cash it in. The Miz came out with his usual posse, The Miztourage: Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. The match was quite even but The Miztourage interfered in the end, costing Jordan the match and making sure The Miz retained his title.

Result: The Miz def. Jason Jordan to retain the Intercontinental Championship

#7 Dean Ambrose, R-Truth & Jason Jordan vs. The Miz, Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel

Jason Jordan was taking a brutal beatdown from Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel after the last match when R-Truth and Dean Ambrose came out to make the save. Kurt Angle came out shortly after and announced that the next match would be a 6-Man Tag Team Match between Miz, Dallas & Axel and Jordan, Ambrose & R-Truth.

The team of Jordan, R Truth, and Ambrose won the match even though The Miz and the Miztourage put up a good fight.

Result: Dean Ambrose, R-Truth and Jason Jordan def. The Miz, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel


#8 Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman (Sydney Street Fight)

Roman Reigns continued his violent feud with The Monster, Braun Strowman with an aptly named Sydney Street Fight. Anything and everything was fair game for the competitors as they made use of everything they could find around the ring as a weapon. Roman Reigns got the big victory in the end, but not before both men were battered and bruised.

Result: Roman Reigns def. Braun Strowman
