Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley (Winner to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam)

Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley felt each other out in the opening stages of the match. Reigns got in the first offence with a right hand to Lashley's jaw. The action soon spilt out to ringside as Reigns went for a Superman Punch but Lashley caught him in midair and hit a belly-to-belly suplex as it cut to commercial.

We came back from commercial to see Lashley and Reigns still going back and forth. Lashley knocked Reigns down with a clothesline from the apron. Reigns replied with a leg drop for a nearfall. Lashley locked in a Master Lock for a brief period but Roman broke free. Lashley then locked in a chokehold but Roman rolled him up for a 2-count.

Roman bounced off the ropes looking for momentum but Lashley hit him with a Powerslam. Lashley then set up for the Spear, Roman countered with an accidental knee strike for a 2-count.

Roman followed it up with a Superman Punch for another nearfall. Roman looked all set to set up for the Spear but Lashley rolled out of the ring. Roman went for a Superman Punch inside the ring but Lashley caught him and tossed him back into the ring. Lashley followed it up with a Spear for another nearfall. Lashley set up for another Spear but Reigns hit a Superman Punch. Reigns followed it up with the Spear for the win. Reigns is heading to SummerSlam for a date with 'The Beast Incarnate' in Brooklyn.
