Sasha Banks kicked off the show and we got a recap of her past attacks on fellow superstars from the last two week. Natalya attacked Sasha during her speech about how she was the boss of the women's division and a brawl broke out at ringside between the two. A group of officials had to separate the two before we headed to commercials.

The Street Profits were backstage, hyping the show and the introduced us to the new Tag Team Turmoil Match before Round 1 of the King of the Ring tournament continued.


Ricochet vs. Drew McIntyre - King of the Ring: Round 1

Ricochet sent Mcintyre outside for a top rope move but Drew caught him and sent him spine-first into the apron. After a couple of tries, Ricochet finally hit a dive over the top ropes and took out Mcintyre outside. Drew slammed Ricochet onto the mat face-first, almost knocking him out. Ricochet lifted Drew and hit a Northern Lights Suplex but eventually was tossed aside.

Ricochet took a Glasgow Kiss but failed to get the three-count. Ricochet hit the 630 and got the pinfall, moving to the next round.

Result: Ricochet def. Drew McIntyre and moved on to the next round.

Backstage, Braun Strowman challenged Seth Rollins to a Universal Championship match and Seth agreed. Seth Rollins vs Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship is now the Clash of Champions main event.


The Miz vs. Baron Corbin - King of the Ring: Round 1

The Miz cut a promo before his match about sitting on the Iron Throne of WWE and becoming "King Awesome". Baron Corbin went after The Miz and backed him in the corner. Outside the ring, he continued the pressure.

The Miz countered an End of Days into a DDT, but it was not enough for the pinfall.

Baron Corbin tried to circle the ring and turn it into a clothesline, but The Miz escaped and hit the Skull Crushing Finale but Corbin kicked out. Corbin caught him with The End of Days and goth the fall.

Result: Baron Corbin def. The Miz and moved on to the next round.

Match rating: B


The OC were interviewed backstage and they were not happy. They vowed to win the tag team turmoil match.


Bayley vs. Nikki Cross

Bayley evaded Cross' charge and nearly rolled her up. She caught her in a suplex and sent her to the other side of the ring before she kicked her and stunned her. The champion takes control and hit Cross with a spinning sidewalk slam. Bayley secured an elbow drop and the win.

Result: Bayley def. Nikki Cross

Match rating: B


Strowman was interviewed backstage and he said no one could stop him from winning the United States Championship. He even hinted that by the end of Clash Of Champions, he could be a triple champion.

8-team Tag Team Turmoil Match for the RAW Tag Team Championship #1 contenders spot

B-Team began the match with The Viking Raiders and while they started strong, it didn't take Erik long to take control and tag in Ivar. The Viking Raiders advanced.

The B-Team were eliminated.

The OC began the attack on the Viking Raiders before the bell rang and it was absolute Mayhem. It was a beatdown and due to the fact that they didn't listen to the referee, both teams were eliminated.

The Viking Raiders & The OC were eliminated via Double DQ.

Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler made their tag team debut before Lucha House Party came out. Lince Dorado took Roode down and forced him to tag Ziggler. Gran Metalik tagged in and put on a clinic against the veteran Ziggler.

Lucha House Party were eliminated.

The Revival came in next and started strong. Dawson chopped on Roode's chest, but the former United States Champion hit a backdrop on him. Roode and Ziggler frequently tagged in and out before The Revival isolated Ziggler.

The Revival were eliminated.

Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins were in next and a superkick put Ryder away.

Heavy Machinery were in next and Otis took full control and hit The caterpillar but Ziggler interjects and was planted. Otis splashed on them both and that's when the caterpillar finally hit. Robert Roode took advantage and hit the Glorious DDT for the win.

Result: Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler def. Heavy Machinery and are the new #1 contenders for the RAW Tag Team Championships

Match rating: A

Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman is now official for Clash of Champions


Sasha Banks vs. Natalya

Sasha Banks returned to the ring in her first match in 4 months. She was driven into the barricade right of the bat. Natalya even hit a vicious suplex back-to-back on the mat. She continued her mean streak but inevitably, Banks took over.

Natalya tried to get the better of her but was unable to do so. Sasha Banks eased into a Bank Statement and modified it and made her tap.

Result: Sasha Banks def. Natalya

Sasha Banks went back in and tortured Natalya with the Bank Statement.

Match rating: B


Cedric Alexander vs. Cesaro

Cedric Alexander started strong, sending Cesaro flying right off the bat. He tried to take an unnecessary risk, only to get caught by a vicious uppercut. Cesaro hit a gut-wrench suplex. Alexander made the quick comeback and took Cesaro out. He splashed and hit Cesaro but failed to secure the pinfall.

Cesaro had Alexander in a half Boston crab. Alexander intently fought back and rolled through, nearly putting him away. Cesaro had Alexander in an ankle-lock and was sent out for a moment but incredible timing saw Alexander hit the lumbar check and get the win.

Result: Cedric Alexander def. Cesaro

Match rating: A


We saw a short clip of how the 24/7 title changed hands multiple times, only to come back to Elias in the end.

Roode and Ziggler cut a promo backstage about going to Clash of Champions and coming out as tag champs.


The Street Profits were back and excited about the afterparty while saying that the show was 'lit'. Strowman showed up behind them and was on his way out to the ring.


Bray Wyatt returned in a short recap of the FireFly Funhouse.


AJ Styles (c) vs Braun Strowman - United States Championship match

Strowman threw Styles outside the ring right off the bat. He went in charging and bulldozed through him. Braun went for round two and took out AJ yet again on the apron. Styles took control of Strowman via a sleeper hold and started to attack his legs. He got Strowman in a calf crusher and The Monster Among Men broke free.

The referee was taken out as AJ sent Braun into the ropes and AJ brought a steel chair and unloaded on Braun. Strowman still hit the slam and there was no one to count to three. The rest of the OC came out and hit Braun with the chair. Strowman took the chair away but the official got up and wrongly DQ'd Strowman.

Result: AJ Styles def. Braun Strowman and retained the United States Championship

Braun deciamted the OC out of anger and took out everyone with the chair before the show was over.

Match rating: A


Some great matches and a shocking end to hte main event - not the worst RAW this month.
