A highlight was shown of the previous week and Samoa Joe’s debut.
Samoa Joe’s contract signing
Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon introduced Joe, who came out. Foley was critical of Joe and the way he came in, even though he claimed to be a big fan of his for years. Samoa Joe said that it took him 18 years to get the opportunity and Triple H got him there. He said if putting Seth Rollins on the shelf was what it took, he would do it.
Roman Reigns interrupted. He said that RAW was his yard, and dared Joe to threaten him. Mick Foley said that he was still the GM, and he made the matches. He announced Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns as the main event of RAW.
Bayley vs Nia Jax was announced to be next
Bayley vs Nia Jax
Bayley was announced for a RAW Women's Championship match against Charlotte next week on RAW after she pinned Charlotte last week.
The match started off with Nia Jax dominating. She stunned Nia outside when she slammed her against the ropes. She had the advantage for all but a few seconds before Nia started dominating again.
Nia continued to squash Bayley after the commercial. Bayley managed to get the offence in on Nia, and Nia was on the verge of being counted out, but Charlotte came out and distracted the referee. Bayley dragged Charlotte in the ring and took her out. However, Nia came in and hit the Samoan drop on Bayley for the win.

Braun Strowman vs 4 enhancement talents(4-on-1 handicap match)
Braun started off assaulting all 4 enhancement talents and rag-dolling them. One of the enhancement talents instantly ran away. Strowman viciously assaulted the remaining 3 men, and hit the running powerslam and then stacking them all up on each other and pinning them.

After the match, Braun Strowman called out Foley and asked him if that was what he called competition. He said he was coming back for Foley.
Strowman confronted Foley backstage, and Foley said that he would face Roman Reigns at Fastlane.
A preview of Akira Tozawa was shown, and his debut was announced as next.
Akira Tozawa vs Drew Gulak
A lot of strikes were exchanged. The crowd showed some response towards Tozawa. After a series of exchanges, Tozawa hit Gulak with a rapid German suplex, getting the win. The crowd responded well to Gulak.

After the match, The Brian Kendrick came out and shook Tozawa’s hand. Tozawa looked confused.
Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens get foiled by Goldberg; Goldberg makes a huge announcement and challenge
Kevin Owens started bragging about the fact that he retained the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman. Jericho said that he would retain the United States Championship against Sami Zayn. He called out Patriots star Tom Brady for being called the “GOAT”. He put Tom Brady on the list.
Chris Jericho said he wanted to face Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. The crowd responded with great zeal to the tease. Kevin Owens said that the match would be the biggest WrestleMania main event. He said that he couldn’t fight his best friend. Goldberg’s music then hit.
Goldberg challenged them 2-on-1 right then. He accepted Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 33 challenge. Owens said that Lesnar vs Goldberg would be a “perfect undercard match for KO Mania 2”.
Goldberg then challenged Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship at Fastlane.
Chirs Jericho teased putting Goldberg on the list. Goldberg took the list and wrote his own name. Jericho was outraged that Goldberg put himself on the list. He said that he never liked Goldberg, and said that Goldberg would get his championship match against Kevin Owens at Fastlane.
Backstage, Kevin Owens was outraged at Jericho for putting him in a match against Goldberg. Jericho said that he had his back every time. Owens was not convinced and stormed away.
Gallows & Anderson(c) vs Cesaro & Sheamus – RAW Tag Team Championship
Enzo & Cass were ringside, with the intention of challenging the winners of the match. Gallows and Anderson started off dominantly, with the commentators praising their chemistry. Cesaro got back some momentum with a series of uppercuts on Gallows. Cesaro & Sheamus then began to look dominant.
After the break, the teams were at a stalemate, but Cesaro tagged in Sheamus, who began a series of moves on Anderson. He struck Anderson's chest ten times. Gallows broke the pin but was clotheslined out by Cesaro. He then superkicked Enzo who was outside and Big Cass attacked Gallows, ending the match in a disqualification. Cesaro and Sheamus were left bewildered.

A highlight of Seth Rollins’ assault in the hands of Samoa Joe. Not much of an update was given apart from showing one of Seth Rollins’ tweet.
The New Day vs The Shining Stars
The New Day gave their standard introduction involving Booty-Os. However, Big E teased a New Day Ice Cream.
The Shining Stars started off the match slow with a headlock on Xavier Woods. Epico hit a vertical suplex on Xavier. Primo was dominating Xavier until he countered with a dropkick from the top rope. Big E got the hot tag and started tossing Epico around with a series of Belly-to-Belly suplexes.
Xavier Woods hit their finish on Epico to pick up the win.
The New Day defeated The Shining Stars
Charly Caruso interviewed Chris Jericho stating his relationship with Kevin Owens was strained, but he said that friends tend to have fights sometimes. Owens came up and assured him things were alright and said that he knew he’d have his back at Fastlane and that he would beat Goldberg. Owens said that he had Jericho’s back against Zayn in their United States Championship match.

Chris Jericho(c) vs Sami Zayn – United States Championship
Sami started off dominant against Jericho. Sami started chasing Jericho outside but Jericho slid back in and dropkicked Zayn. The two exchanged offence for a while.
After the commercial break, Jericho was on top. However, Zayn would counter into an exploder suplex. He tried a Helluva kick but was caught by Jericho. He hit a blue thunder bomb for the two count. The momentum was on the side of the challenger. Jericho would eventually get the walls of Jericho.
Though Zayn got to the ropes, the referee was distracted by Jericho, prompting Owens to hit a superkick on Zayn. Jericho then hit the code breaker on Zayn to pick up the win.

Sasha Banks is confronted by Charlotte
Charlotte barged into Sasha’s physical therapy and started rubbing salt on her wounds, giving burn after burn. Sasha said nothing and Charlotte walked away.
Austin Aries interviews Neville and makes a huge announcement
Austin Aries praised his own journalism and introduced Neville, who he was interviewing. Austin Aries announced that the next day on 205 Live, there would be a Fatal-5-way match between Cedric Alexander, TJ Perkins, Tony Nese, Jack Gallagher, and Noam Dar to determine the next #1 contender to Neville at Fastlane.
Cedric Alexander came out. Before he could say anything, Austin Aries cut him off, and Aries was cut off by Noam Dar. Noam Dar said he would love to steal Neville’s Cruiserweight Championship just like how he “stole” Alicia Fox from Cedric Alexander. Jack Gallagher came out, and then Tony Nese. TJ Perkins made his entry out last, much to the frustration of Aries.
They all began attacking each other, and Gallagher and Neville were left in the ring, and Gallagher drop kicked Neville out of the ring. The over the top rope dives began, and Cedric jumped over all of them. Neville teased an over-the-top-rope dive but then raised his arms in celebration.

Neville dominated both Cedric Alexander and Jack Galagher and tagged in Noam Dar reluctantly. In the commentary booth, Austin Aries was still upset over his interview being cut off. Tony Nese and Jack Gallagher exchanged offence but Gallagher got the better of him. Neville seemed like he was ready for a tag but Noam Dar took the tag from Tony Nese.
TJ Perkins was tagged in and he got the better of Dar. When Dar tried to tag in, Neville once again walked out like he did on 205 Live. TJP then got Dar out and tagged in Cedric, who hit the Lumbar check on Noam Dar for the win.

Backstage, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho were talking about their friendship. Jericho said that they needed a festival to show their friendship to the world. He said it was the “WrestleMania of friendship” and said it would be on RAW next week.
Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns
Samoa Joe began assaulting Roman Reigns before he completed his entrance. He gave a big beatdown to Reigns, all while the bell didn’t even ring.
After the commercial break, the bell rang, and Samoa Joe started with a series of jabs on Reigns. Reigns managed to get Joe out of the ring and then slammed him against the barricade. Joe gave a series of chest slaps to Roman, but Roman no sold it. When Roman ran towards Joe, the destroyer took him down and hit a senton on him. From that point, Joe completely dominated Reigns.
Things started getting heated after the two exchanged strikes, but Joe still got the better of it. Roman tried a Samoan drop on Joe but couldn't lift him. Joe started the offence again and hit a senton on Reigns.
As Joe was kicking Reigns in the corner, Reigns picked him up and hit the Samoan drop. He teased a superman punch but Joe rolled outside. Reigns ran and kicked him outside. He hit the superman punch on Joe. As he was about to hit the spear, Strowman came out.and distracted Reigns. Reigns hit Strowman twice with the superman punch. Joe took advantage and hit Reigns with a dropkick from behind and then picked him up and slammed him, pinning him to 3.

After the match, Strowman slammed Reigns to the ground. The crowd chanted “ Thank you Strowman”. Strowman hit Reigns with a blow to the chest and picked up the steel steps to hit Reigns, which he did. He drove Reigns right through the barricade. RAW ended with Strowman standing tall.
