WWE RAW Results: Goldberg and Asuka return; top champ injured; Becky Lynch's first title defense confirmed (6/16/25)

WWE RAW kicked off with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in the ring, and Liv said that Nikki Bella was at home, still recovering after being attacked last week. Liv added that no one paved the way for her, especially not Nikki Bella, since Morgan was the only four-time Women's Tag Team Champion.

She demanded a Women's World Title rematch before IYO SKY walked out. IYO told Liv to stop with the disrespect to herself and Nikki before challenging her to a match.

Morgan said that she would only fight her for the title, and SKY told her that she would have to earn it before Dominik told the champ to give Liv what she wanted. IYO offered Liv the title but then hit her with the belt before taking Dominik out with a kick as well before walking out.

WWE RAW Results: Asuka vs. Ivy Nile vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Stephanie Vaquer - Queen of the Ring Tournament: First Round Match

The returning Asuka and Stephanie Vaquer teamed up early on and took out Nile and Raquel Rodriguez before turning on each other. Raquel and Ivy Nile came back, and Asuka took a big powerbomb as the match went on. Vaquer got a big suplex on Nile before Rodriguez countered the Devil's Kiss.

Asuka was in control and hit some headbutts on Vaquer before getting a codebreaker. Ivy tried to sneak in a pin off a slam, but Raquel took her out with a big boot.

Rhea Ripley came out and took Rodriguez out of the ring and hit her with the Riptide on the floor. Raquel was sent back in before Asuka hit her with the Empress Impact and got the win.

Result: Asuka def. Raquel Rodriguez, Stephanie Vaquer & Ivy Nile on RAW

The New Day were out next and said that they would be putting their titles on the line, but not tonight, before making fun of the Green Bay crowd.

Backstage in The Judgment Day clubhouse, Raquel told Liv Morgan that she was too hurt to help her with her match later in the night before Morgan stormed out. Dominik told Finn Balor to hang back for JD McDonagh's match tonight, and Dom would handle it himself.

Gunther was out next and celebrated his World Heavyweight Championship win over Jey Uso last week. He said that Jey was the better man at WrestleMania, but he redeemed himself by winning the title back.

Gunther then addressed Seth Rollins, who holds the Money in the Bank contract, and said that he was the only logical choice to cash in on when Goldberg made his return on WWE RAW!

Goldberg said that he was out there to tell Gunther he was proud of him before challenging him to a title match at Saturday Night's Main Event on July 12. Gunther accepted the challenge before RAW moved on.

WWE RAW Results: AJ Styles vs. JD McDonagh

AJ Styles was in control early on and tried for the Calf Crusher and almost made JD McDonagh tap out, but the latter managed to escape. The match headed outside, and Dominik got involved before JD hit a big dive on the barricades.

McDonagh got the reverse surfboard on AJ in the ring before the latter got some big kicks. JD came back with the brainbuster before Dom interfered once more, but AJ still got the Styles Clash and picked up the win.

Result: AJ Styles def. JD McDonagh on RAW

Dominik attacked AJ after the match and took the Pele Kick, but Balor saved him from the Phenomenal Forearm. Dom left his title belt in the ring, and AJ was posing with it before The Judgment Day tried to surround him in the ring. AJ Styles managed to slip away and walk out with the title as Balor and the others entered the ring.

Grade: B

Penta was being interviewed in the stands and said that he would destroy his attackers one by one since he fears no one.

Bayley was out next and called out Becky Lynch for attacking her and taking away her WrestleMania opportunity. Bayley said that it made her stronger and angered her. She called Becky out, and the Women's Intercontinental Champion showed up to confront her.

Becky said that she 'used to fight for the people' but the 'people stopped fighting for her'. Lynch added that no one cared that Bayley lost her WrestleMania opportunity, and Bayley replied that it was the champ who was insecure about how the fans would react to her.

Bayley demanded a title shot, and Becky offered her one, but not tonight. Becky turned her back, and Bayley took a cheap shot before the champ quickly made a run for it as RAW moved on.

AJ Styles returned Dominik's title belt to Nick Aldis before Aldis told him that AJ was booked for the Intercontinental Championship match at Night of Champions. Bayley walked in, and Aldis confirmed her title match against Becky Lynch as well.

WWE RAW Results: Kairi Sane vs. Liv Morgan

Kairi Sane got an awkward takedown as the match started, and it looked to have hurt Liv's shoulder, so the match was stopped so Liv Morgan could get medical attention. The ring announcer let us know shortly after that Liv could no longer continue the match, and Kairi took the win on a technicality.

Result: Kairi Sane def. Liv Morgan via referee stoppage

Grade: C

The commentators confirmed shortly after that Liv dislocated her shoulder in the opening moments of the match as RAW moved on.

Sami Zayn was backstage when Karrion Kross taunted him before Zayn fought back and said that Kross was a coward since he just runs his mouth backstage.

WWE RAW Results: Bronson Reed vs. Jey Uso vs. Rusev vs. Sheamus - King of the Ring Tournament: First Round Match

Rusev beat Jey Uso down in the ring before clearing the announce desk and trying to put Bronson Reed through it. Reed turned it around and put Rusev through the announce desk cover with a big powerslam. Back in the ring, Jey was being mauled by Bronson Reed but managed to get some strikes in before getting the superkick and an uppercut.

Sheamus got twenty whole Beats of the Bodhran on Reed at the ringside before Rusev demolished Jey with a tackle. Rusev took Sheamus down with some big moves in the ring before Bronson hit them both with a splash in the corner. Jey took the World's Strongest Slam from Reed before Sheamus hit Bronson with White Noise.

Rusev locked in the Accolade on Jey before Sheamus came back in with the knee strike. Reed came back and hit the Tsunami on Sheamus, but Uso broke up the pin. Jey got the spear on Reed before Bron Breakker came out and dropped Uso from the top rope.

Sami Zayn came out and attacked Breakker, tossing him into the ring post. Breakker dodged the helluva kick and sent Sami over the announce desk before Penta took Bron out with a dive! LA Knight dropped Reed off the top rope to stop the tsunami before Jey hit double splashes on Bronson for the win.

Result: Jey Uso def. Bronson Reed, Rusev & Sheamus on RAW

Seth Rollins showed up after the match, and Cody Rhodes came out to stop him from attacking Jey. The two had a staredown in the middle of the ring before Rollins backed off and headed out with Paul Heyman and the boys. Rhodes and Jey had a staredown of their own, but then shook hands as RAW went off the air.
