Elias vs. Apollo Crews

Can someone count the number of rest holds on tonight's show?

Elias was in the ring to perform but was cut off by Apollo. The match began before we could even ask where his former mates, Titus Worldwide were. Regardless, Crews hit a big flip off the apron to the ground as we, once again, cut for commercials. The two traded rest holds and Crews hit an Enzugiri.

A standing shooting star press from Crews ended in a near fall. Elias hit a knee to the chin and then the Driftaway for the three count and the victory as we were reminded what Elias' entrance music sounds like.

It's true, it's damn true...

Kurt Angle appeared on screen to talk about the WWE World Cup and the competitors giving us a little snippet of their achievements and accolades. He said he'll be bringing his best to the fight even though it's been years since his glory days in the WWE.

Probably the most fun moment of RAW tonight

Elias was back in the ring with his guitar after the match but this time Baron Corbin interrupted him. Baron said they didn't have time for it but Elias said Stephanie wants to hear the song too. Baron told him if Stephanie didn't like him, he'd be fired already.

Elias sang a couple lines about how Corbin is just a puppet for Stephanie. Corbin had Elias' mic cut off and he retreated backstage. Elias returned, however, catching Baron unawares and smashed his guitar on the acting GM's back. At least one good thing came out of this long segment.
