Nia Jax vs. Ember Moon

Moon went for a sleeper hold early on and then a basement dropkick sending Nia out of the ring. Nia was on her feet after a suicide dive and dragged Ember out of the ring by her feet before chucking her across the outside area. Ember quickly got into the ring to break the count but Nia was outside for the count of ten and lost the match via count-out.

Result: Ember Moon def. Nia Jax via count-out

Trish Stratus returns

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was out next. She addressed Alexa Bliss, her opponent at WWE Evolution. Alexa Bliss' music hit and she interrupted Trish. Stratus said Bliss' math from the previous week's promo was off before cracking a short joke.

Trish warned Bliss and James that at Evolution, they would learn what a Hall of Fame beatdown felt like. Mickie James asked Trish how she'd feel if she teamed up with Bliss at Evolution, an idea Trish was surprisingly open to and she said that she already has a partner in mind.

Lita's music hit and she ran down into the ring. Lita and Trish cleared the ring as Bliss and James scurried back to the lockers.

It seemed official that Trish Stratus & Lita vs Alexa Bliss & Mickie James was the new match for Evolution. It was officially announced by WWE soon after.
