WWE has shockingly released long-time ring announcer Justin Roberts from the company. The news came out after it was posted on their official website that Roberts’ release was “effective immediately.”

WWE has chosen to not exercise its option to renew ring announcer Justin Roberts' contract. Effective immediately, Roberts is released from WWE. WWE wishes him the best in all his future endeavors.
Roberts did his last in-ring announcements on Monday Night Raw last week from Atlanta, Georgia. There wasn’t any kind of a hint then that he would be departing from the company.
Roberts was seen as a company man having served as a ring announcer for all of WWE's major programming since 2002. This certainly will be a startling news for the WWE universe.
