Sami Zayn vs Braun Strowman
Sami looked to avoid Braun Strowman in the opening stages of the match. Sami used his speed to his advantage and hit Strowman with a hurricanrana and a running dropkick but they barely did any damage to Strowman. Strowman then tossed Zayn across the ring and sent him rolling to the outside.
Strowman rolled Sami back in and hit him with repeated kicks and knees as Strowman toyed with his prey.
The big man then choked Sami with his knee on the middle rope before charging at him. Zayn ducked and Strowman went over the top rope and to the outside. Zayn tried to hit a plancha but Strowman caught him and launched him face first into the apron before rolling him back into the ring and hit a clothesline.
He then went to work on Zayn’s head with repeated forearms as the match reached the 5-minute mark. Strowman hit Zayn with a bodyslam and screamed at him to stay down as he hit another devastating clothesline.
We entered the 4-minute mark as Mick Foley came out with a white towel in his hand as Strowman threw Zayn out of the ring at Foley’s feet.
Strowman yelled at Foley and asked him to throw in the towel as the crowd chanted DELETE. Foley told Zayn that he would throw in the towel but Zayn refused and the crowd started to chant “Let them fight” as Zayn threw the towel away.
Strowman pummeled Zayn from the back. He then charged at Zayn who moved out of the way as Strowman ran face-first into the ring post. Strowman then charged at Zayn again as Zayn moved out of the way and Strowman destroyed the barricade.
With 10 seconds left, Sami hit a Helluva Kick on Braun Strowman. The bell rang as time ran out as a livid Braun Strowman started pounding on Sami Zayn. This one isn’t over yet folks. Expect this feud to carry on.
Result: Sami Zayn def. Braun Strowman by surviving 10 minutes
