Former WWE referee fired for misbehaving with a female talent

Down the drain

– Due to hectic travel schedules and workplace proximity, there have been incidents in the past of promotion employees misbehaving with each other. The WWE no longer has inter-gender matches due to it’s PG rating, but other promotions on independent circuits do regularly book them.

Ring Of Honor is one of the biggest wrestling promotions after the likes of WWE and TNA and is praised for its hands down action and story telling. Current WWE Superstars such as Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and AJ Styles have been a part of Ring Of Honor in the past.

Of all the praises that they have received, one employee managed to tarnish his image.

Referee Kevin Keenan was fired from the Ring of Honor for misbehaving with a female talent on the after the show. The ROH employees along with wrestlers and backstage staff were reported to be present at a bar for food and drinks before the TV Tapings in Nashville.

Keenan was seen gettiing close to an un named female wrestler and made advances by spanking her bottom.

This was extremely uncomfortable for the female wrestler and Keenan was asked to leave the establishment after his unacceptable behavior. Keenan’s groping escapades were taken extremely seriously and this he has been fired and left red faced.

Keenan was reprimanded by the ROH booker Hunter Johnston in front of the whole crew, the ROH locker room and the referees. The Wrestling Observer noted that ROH would no longer use the services of Keenan. He was asked to gather his belongings and was fired after being told that this kind of behavior was unacceptable in ROH or in any other promotion.
