Social media has been buzzing, and there has been a lot of speculations and predictions going all over the Internet regarding Royal Rumble.

While the 30 Men/Women Royal Rumble matches have been the talk of the town for obvious reasons, WWE might have some interesting surprises and shocks up its sleeve. Creative might plan a few swerves to not only shock and surprise fans but to also lay down the breadcrumbs for potential feuds following the epic event.

#3 Heel: Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks will face Ronda Rousey for the Women's Championship at the Royal Rumble

The Boss Sasha Banks earned herself a title shot against Ronda Rousey after defeating Nia Jax two weeks ago on Raw. However, she would be in for a tougher challenge in the form of Ronda Rousey on January 27.

Even though Banks teamed up with Bayley to defeat the duo of Ronda Rousey and Natalya, this week on Raw, The Boss walking out as the Raw Women's champion at Royal Rumble is highly unlikely.

However, WWE might shock the fans by turning Sasha Banks heel on January 27. The Boss could beat the daylights out of Rousey to hand over a win via disqualification to the current Champion. This would also lay down the breadcrumbs for a mini-feud between the two before WrestleMania.

While there are numerous options for this to happen, what will be interesting to see is whether Banks is in for a major push or if she goes back to the tag team division after Rumble.

Ever since Braun Strowman lost his title shot after getting involved in a heated argument with Vince McMahon, one question which has been reverberating in the minds of WWE fans is What's next for The Monster Among Men? And the Royal Rumble might have some interesting answers to this question.

WWE could have Braun Strowman show up in the Universal Championship match to cost Balor the match. He could then beat the living daylights out of a helpless Balor to lay down the breadcrumbs for a potential feud. While this would give a new direction to Strowman's character, it would also be a proper explanation for Finn's loss.

On another note, with Balor firing a few verbal volleys on Strowman this week on Monday Night Raw leading to match between the duo, one could argue that WWE might have laid down breadcrumbs for a potential swerve for Strowman on January 27.

#1 Face: Becky Lynch

Will The Man turn face on January 27 at Royal Rumble?

The Man Becky Lynch has been a sensation among the WWE Universe, and she was unarguably the find of 2018. Creative turning her heel in late 2018 was one of the best decisions taken by the WWE.

However, given she is insanely over among fans, this might be the ideal time to turn her into a babyface, and we might witness this on January 27 at Royal Rumble.

Becky Lynch is scheduled to take on Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Championship, however, given Becky Lynch vs Rousey vs Charlotte Flair is expected to main event WrestleMania 35, WWE might have her lose the title but only to enter and win the 30 Women Royal Rumble match and turn her into a babyface.

WWE could then also cash on her popularity to draw more people to the SmackDown product. All in all, Lynch turning face could very well be on the cards for the Rumble.
