It's almost time for the 2018 WWE Royal Rumble, one of the biggest PPV's of WWE's alendar, and my persona favourite. The rumour mill as been on overdrive this year, like most years, but which of these rumours could actually come true? We have to wait and watch.

Ronda Rousey in the Women's Royal Rumble?

Could Ronda Rousey be in the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match?

Ronda Rousey has been in California training under Brian Kendrick which has led to a lot of buzz that she could make her WWE debut at the inaugural Women's Royal Rumble match, with some even saying she could be favourite to win it.

However, a dampner on these rumours is the face that Rousey is currently in Colombia filming a movie.

Sting will be in Philly this weekend

A special appearance from Sting?

Sting confirmed on his Twitter that he will be in Philly this week end but not for a Rumble-related event. However, with the Stinger in the same city as the Rumble, is there a chance that he could make a special return for the Royal Rumble match?

A rumble appearance for Pete Dunne

Will Pete Dunne make his Royal Rumble debut?

The WWE UK Champion is in Philly this weekend after pulling out of an independent show that he'd been previously booked for. This seems to indicate that the Bruiserweight will be in the Royal Rumble match and he was already on the NXT TakeOver: Philly pre-show calling out Brock Lesnar.

Surprise women's Royal Rumble appearances?

Will Lita be in the Rumble?

Lita wasn't on RAW 25 and later commented on Twitter that at least her photo was on the chair. Could her absence have been WWE saving her as a surprise for the Rumble?

Another former Women's Champion, Molly Holly, has denied rumours of a Royal Rumble appearance.

Kaitlyn also recently said that she hasn't been approached for a Royal Rumble return.

Betting odds suggest that Kharma could also make a surprise return, probably just a one-time appearance.

According to PWInsider, Michelle McCool was seen flying into Philly along with the Undertaker.

There have also been rumours that Stephanie McMahon herself could be in the Royal Rumble match.

Surprise appearances for the men's Royal Rumble match

Yes, yes, yes?

Daniel Bryan is a favourite amongst the betting odds to return to action at the Royal Rumble. Whether the betting odds has been led by fan hysteria or whether Bryan has been cleared to return to action remains to be seen.

For a while, Bobby Lashley was on the list of betting odds for a Rumble return but has since been removed apparently. Make what you will of that.

Rockstar Spud is also in Philly, a fact he confirmed with a photo on Instagram.

The Undertaker is in Philly.

The Undertaker is in Philadelphia this weekend. PWInsider reported that Taker and Michele McCool were seen flying into Philly.

NXT women in the Rumble

A number of NXT women will be in the Royal Rumble.

According to Dave Meltzer, up to 9 NXT women could be in the Women's Royal Rumble match.
